Rapid Optical Scanning

The nSpec^® is fast and fully automated. The user can rapidly scan samples in a viewing mode of your choice and the system will automatically analyze, bin, classify, and report the defects based on the thresholding and reporting parameters they define.

The image below is from stainless steel plaques in which each sample group received a different corrosion treatment. The nSpec^® automatically detected and binned the defects and reported the aggregate results. This type of rapid group sample comparison can be fully automated to speed up your inspections.

The nSpec^® also has artificial intelligence algorithms that can, after minimal training, automatically classify the features you want identified.
